WARNING: Cuteness overload! I’m so blessed and honored that I got to photograph Lindsay, Anthony and their sweet new arrival, Brooklyn! Lindsay is just a dear friend and I’m so thrilled for her new little girl. I love the natural and joyful aspect that photographing a family in their home creates. How adorable is Brooklyn’s little nursery? It’s so sweet!!! Just enjoy the amazing cuteness below and don’t forget to leave some kind wishes for the growing family below!

With the holidays and other weddings, we have gotten a little behind with our blogging! Well, it’s a new year and we are excited to share all the amazing weddings and engagement sessions we have been working on!

For this wedding, we are headed south of the border to Mexico! Christie and Sebastien tied the knot at Las Rocas Resort and Spa in Rosarito, Mexico. We had an amazing time hanging with their friends and family for the intimate event overlooking the ocean. The margaritas (seriously the most amazing margaritas ever!), guacamole and carne asada were plentiful and delicious!!! Our favorite part of the day was when we headed down the cliffs to the ocean below for Christie and Sebastien’s sunset photos. So romantic and lovely!!!

  • Heidi Yamazaki - Seeing these photos just brings back so many beautiful and happy memories of that very special day on October 25, 2014! And you posted them on Christie’s sister, Michelle’s 28th birthday, making this even a little more special! That was such an exciting day for all of us, and the presence of you, Kristin Smetona and Dustin, just helped make everything so seamless and calm (along with Angela Cavazos and Andy and Dawn Cato’s help)! It was like we had some very dear friends with us all day who just happened to have really cool cameras with them! You were such a help getting Christie’s dress laced, and just offering great suggestions and assurances all along the way. We really wished you’d have stayed overnight at the resort, just so we could have spent more time with you! The party just kept going, for HOURS more after you left! You are not only amazing photographers, but amazing people. Thank you for all you did to make our daughter’s, Christie Delan, and son-in-law’s, Sebastien Dede’s, day what I’m sure will always be perhaps THE most memorable day of their lives. Can’t close this without tagging Christie’s youngest sister, Lindsey Yamazaki!ReplyCancel

  • Christie Delan - Flowers were done by Flowers By Coley, actually – they changed it up for us at the last minute!ReplyCancel

  • Christie Delan - GORGEOUS presentation and beautiful photos!! So thrilled that we love them all! Thank you, Kristin and Dustin!ReplyCancel

We love being wedding photographers! Every wedding is unique and special! However, every once in awhile an opportunity comes up that makes us just go “Wow! What?!” Such was the case when Tabea and Timon called us over a year ago and asked if we would consider coming to Zürich, Switzerland for their wedding. Honestly, we originally thought it was a someone pulling a joke on us. But it wasn’t a joke!

And so last month, we found ourselves packing our camera gear and boarding passes to Zürich. We landed in Switzerland about a week before the wedding and were welcomed by some of the sweetest and most loving people we have ever met! Tabea, Timon and their families were so incredibly sweet and welcoming!!! Our trip was full of all the wonderful Swiss cheese and chocolate we could handle!

We photographed Tabea and Timon’s engagement photos just a couple days before the wedding and what an amazing day it was! We started in the bride’s hometown of Hochfelden and then in Bülach (the city where the wedding would be). We loved all the classic Swiss architecture! After an amazing lunch of Swiss sausages (seriously amazing!!), we concluded the engagement session in the town of Eglisau and what a beauty it was! Eglisau lies on the Rhine River right on the border of Germany and Switzerland.

After the engagement session, Tabea and Timon decided to play tour guides and took us into downtown Zürich for sightseeing and dinner! What an amazing day! And the fun was only beginning…the wedding day was to come! Keep your eyes out on our blog for their wedding photos coming soon!
