Okay! We will admit it. We think these two are just plain adorable! They share so much joy and laughter together and we think it shows so well in their engagement photos. For their photos we channeled a rustic, woodsy feel and the beach/pier. Our time with them was a blast! However, we especially enjoyed introducing them to Lavender Tea Lounge after the shoot! We are so excited for their wedding next year!
Aren’t these two so fun??? Fishy faces!!!!

Erin and Aaron. It gets a little confusing. “Aaron, no the other one. Girl. Boy. Him. Her.” Thankfully, soon they will be Mr. and Mrs.! Their fall engagement session in San Juan Capistrano was a great mixture of a little bit country and a little bit rustic. We were even stalked a bit by an innocent bystander…

Ashley and Paul’s sailboat engagement shoot in Dana Point was so fun for us! Since they are getting married on a boat next year (how cool is that?!), they wanted to incorporate boats into their engagement shoot. We headed down to the Dana Point Harbor and found a sweet group of friends who gladly let us borrow their boat for a few photos. We were thrilled! Sometimes we still can’t believe we are get to shoot some of the places we do! We then headed down to the beach for a few sunset photos on the sand. The golden light provided a perfect ending to our California ocean-themed shoot!
This one is our favorite!

Familiar worship lyrics greeted our ears on the Sunday morning of Taylor and Ryan’s wedding at Thousand Pines Christian Camp (click on their names to see their engagement photos). Even though we wouldn’t be with our normal church family, it was clear to us that today in and of itself would be a glorious act of worship and so it was. Tears of joy flowed freely as the new Mr. and Mrs. Bedoya took their vows (and even tried to kiss each other during the ceremony before they were supposed to). We especially loved the unique touch of wheat bridesmaid bouquets. Aren’t they neat? The whole day was filled with so much delight and joy that we went back down the mountain with full hearts!
Taylor and Ryan,
To say that we loved your wedding is an understatement! We already knew it, but your wedding day was just a testament to the grace of God in your lives. You are truly a loving and beloved couple! We couldn’t have asked for better people to spend our day with. Your smiles, laughter and joy certainly has made our editing job difficult, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Can you believe that this is just a glimpse at your photos?
We wish you all the best as your continue to serve our Lord together!
Much love and joy,
Kristin and Dustin

It was a perfect day for a wedding for Valerie and Danny (click on their names to see their engagement photos)! We arrived at the Anaheim Sheraton and were greeted by a bouncing, bubbly bride who was just as eager to see us as we were to see her! Anyone who knows Valerie knows how true this is. And Danny is just as sweet and kind as his new wife! We were thrilled to be there and get to meet all their friends and family. They day was laid back and full of so much laughter and fun!
After their first look, Valerie and Danny went back to room she got ready in for some jumping on the bed photos right before the ceremony. Most couples get nervous right before, but not these two! From an adorable, ballerina flower girl throwing confetti hearts to a sweet (if quick) kiss to seal the deal, everything was lovely! We think the reception was our favorite part though. (You can see all the fun moments below.) Just going to be honest we didn’t know what PSY’s Gangnam Style was until this wedding!!! *gasp* It’s shocking…we know. The (now unmistakable) techno chords began and deafening cheer erupted as the silly dance began. We didn’t know what had really happened, nor did know what a huge sensation it was. Thank you Valerie, Danny and their guests for pulling us out of the pop culture pit we didn’t know we were in.
(In case any of our readers are also in this cultural conundrum, we would like to take this moment to introduce you to what is currently the MOST POPULAR YOU TUBE VIDEO OF ALL TIME. Enjoy the silliness! Dont’ forget to dress classy and dance cheesy!)
Valerie and Danny,
You are both such a joy to call, not only clients, but friends. You two are a lovely match brought together by God and we couldn’t be any happier for you both! Never lose that joy and gladness that you seem to exude so often and so brightly. May our Lord richly bless you in all that you do and all that you love. We hope to see you again soon!!!
Love,
Kristin and Dustin

Isn’t their flowergirl just adorable?

The flower girl tossed glittery confetti hearts instead of flowers. Fun!
The bride, her sister, and their parents all share the same anniversary date now!

Kids DO say the Darnest Things! We loved it when the DJ interviewed the kids at the wedding and asked them “what is love?” Some had to think nice and hard about it!
The kids were certainly a highlight of the evening as they broke in the dance floor for everyone.
And so we come to it…the mystery Gumby Dance. The groom and two friends were placed in Gumby suits and danced for the bride. Valerie had to guess which was her new husband. You can only imagine the laughter than ensued.
Fortunately, she got it right! Her husband was #3
The bride and groom got a “kissing lesson” from the bride’s parents!

Getting married is hard work.
