It’s rare when you find two people with such a love for other people, as Hannah and John both have worked on projects with YWAM. Not only do they clearly love others, but they have an intense passion for each other. We love seeing and getting to work with Christian couples who are so determined to serve the Lord together in their marriage. The ins and outs of how God brought the two of them together are detailed and lovely and we can’t go into all of it right now…

However, we have to share one fun part of John and Hannah’s story that we remember. John works up in the mountains near Running Springs and years ago he began praying for his future wife. He would walk up to this certain spot, look out into the valley below, and think about who that lady might be one day. Then he met Hannah. Sparks flew and he decided to propose. He took Hannah up to the same spot, popped the question, and she (of course) said “YES!” They then realized that they could clearly see the house where Hannah grew up from where they stood. John had been praying for the woman who was closer than he knew.

Hannah was really excited to book their engagement shoot and we were thrilled to get to know them better. We weren’t supposed to be shooting at the Santa Rosa Plateau in Murrieta, but we didn’t know that. Luckily, the lady at the info building let us go without a permit or a fine. Thank you, nice lady! We had a great time during their shoot and we love how Hannah and John were up for letting us experiment with some different photography looks for their photos. So, you might see a few photos that channel something closer to Urban Outfitters. We hope you love them!!!
