Megan and Kyle’s wedding will forever be one of Kristin’s favorites! In fact, if we could redo our own wedding, it would be JUST like this one. The bride, the groom and their families all flew in from out of state and converged on a private beach cottage in Oceanside, California. Everything was so relaxed and laid back! The wedding ceremony took place out on the sand with a perfect aqua Pacific ocean serving as decor. Guests sipped on cocktails at a barefoot ceremony and reception. After dinner, everyone had the chance to swim, dance or play games to their heart’s content. Megan and Kyle decided to take advantage of the sunset to turn their romantic sunset portraits into a spontaneous “trash the dress” shoot in the ocean! Were we okay with this? Heck yes! Major kudos to the new Mr. and Mrs. for laying in the surf in their wedding clothes the day of!

Megan and Kyle,
We wish you and your families all the happiness in the world! Your wedding day was truly amazing and we couldn’t have asked for a better bride and groom to share it with. ;-) It makes us sad that you live so far away in Virginia. Please feel free to come visit us for a beach day when it gets too cold in the Northeast!
All our love,
Kristin and Dustin

Brandon & Melody’s wedding was absolutely lovely (click on their names to see their engagement photos)! From the lovely purple and green details to the heartfelt toasts, the day went off without a hitch! (Expect for maybe the incident with a few bees that couldn’t get enough of a certain bridesmaid’s gorgeous bouquet…love you, Lauren!) Speaking of the bouquets…didn’t Melody do an amazing job on all the flowers and details? Can you believe she did them all herself?!

The Woman’s Club served as an amazing and intimate backdrop for the day! Since our church meets at the Woman’s Club, we enjoyed watching the preparation for the day begin even during our worship service. This was a joyful day for your church family as two of our members became one!

Melody and Brandon,
It has been great to see the joy that you two have been sharing since your wedding. Especially in your case, it is true that two can serve the Lord better together than apart! Seeing your smiling face in Sunday school and ministring in church together brings us such joy! May your love for each other continue to blossom and thrive in the Lord.
Love you both,
Kristin and Dustin

Casey and Scott’s wedding (click on their names to see their engagement photos) was full of beautiful details and sweet moments!  It was pure joy to photograph this wedding at Hidden Oaks in Rancho Cucamonga (one of our favorite locations).  We loved all the little details and special touches that they had added to the day. Casey and Scotty were so excited to get married and the whole affair was gorgeous! The whole bridal party, including the adorable flower girl, wore TOMS Shoes. The couple even used the game of Jenga as their guestbook so they would think of all their friends whenever they played. What a great idea!

As a wedding videographer, Scotty had a hard time resisting the urge to film his own wedding. Eventually, he did get to spend a few minutes filming his bride. :-) The night was even complete with glow stick jewelry and a spinning glowing jump rope. As fellow California Baptist University alumni, we were thrilled to be part of their big day. It was something like a family reunion as CBU friends abounded in celebration of the happy couple!

Casey and Scotty,
We know we have said it already, but CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! We are so thrilled that you two have finally gotten married. Everyone was so stoked for you two and we are proud to have been part of it. May our Lord bless you through all the amazing years of marriage ahead!
All our love,
Kristin and Dustin

We all have those friends whom (no matter how long it’s been) we can always pick right back up where we left off. Audrey is one of those dear friends for Kristin! I (Kristin) grew up in Lee’s Summit, Missouri with Audrey and her family. We attended the same church and were in the same homeschooling activities. Audrey was even kind enough to come out to California for our wedding, which is when we met Greg.

Greg and Audrey are truly some of the kindest, most genuine people that you will ever meet. We are blessed to call them dear friends!!! Audrey is simply a joy to be around, everyone just adores her and we don’t blame the. Greg, strong, tall dark and handsome (sound about right Audrey ;-) ) brings a calm peacefulness to Audrey’s life. They are truly a blessing from God to one another.

The big day came and while (in true Midwest fashion) it rained…well it poured…that’s not what the day was all about. The happy couple exchanged special gifts to each other and took a few photos before the rain hit and the clouds even cleared before the ceremony. With all their family and friends around them, Audrey and Greg became Mr. and Mrs. Brown!!!

Audrey and Greg,
Thank you so much for having us be part of your wedding!!! We were so glad to be part of it! May our Lord continually grant you all the happiness in the world. We know that you two will always treasure one another for the blessing that you are!
All our love,
Kristin and Dustin

You can never have too much of a good thing, right? So, the next evening after their wedding, Kevin and Stephanie (click on their names for their wedding photos) met up with us in South Haven, Michigan for dinner and a “day after” session in their wedding attire. We were happy to see our smiling friends again and get to snap off gorgeous photos of them as the sun set over the lake. Then we finally said “good-bye” to our dear friends, knowing they would soon be on their way back to Japan.

Enjoy and leave some love below! :-)
