Russ and Terri are as good looking as Russ is tall…which is a lot! :-)
One thing we love about our job is seeing the joy and passion that two people have for each other and capturing it! We especially love when it is completely evident how much the groom cares for his bride-to-be. In looking back through this shoot, we couldn’t help but notice how enthralled Russ is with Terri…and it’s not hard too see why. Terri is so sweet and she is absolutely stunning!!!

Because Russ proposed to Terri in Paris, France, they chose to have a Parisian tea themed engagement session. Collette of Brier Rose Design did an amazing job adding beautiful French details and gorgeous florals! We even love how Terri’s pink skirt resembles a ballet tutu!

Terri and Russ,
We are so thrilled to be your wedding photographers!!! Couples like you make our day! We know your wedding is going to be filled with even more love and joy. Kristin is especially excited for the Lavender Lemonade at the wedding. Yummy! :-) Keep yours heads up! The big day is just a little over a month away!!!

xoxo,
Kristin and Dustin

Leave some love and best wishes for the Mr. and Mrs. To-Be!!!

*Due to the spontaneous nature and dark lighting of this shoot, please forgive the noise and grain in some of the photos.*

As many of our followers probably know, I (Kristin) am currently in Paris, France! I’m here on vacation with my amazing aunt and tonight she scheduled for us to have dinner in the Eiffel Tower at the 58 Eiffel Tower Restaurant! Incredible, right?!?! Well, it decided to pour down rain. I grabbed my camera as we left our hotel and hoped that the rain would let up so I could snap off a few photos of the tower at night. Little did I know, I was grabbing my camera for another purpose as well…

As we made our way through the rain and huddled under our single umbrella, we waited in line to pick up our dinner reservation tickets. I quickly felt sorry for all the lovely young ladies who had clearly dressed up so nicely for an extra special dinner, but were being soaked to the bone. I heard a young couple behind us dialoging. “I’m sorry your shoes are getting all messed up, honey,” the man said. “It’s okay. They are just shoes and I’m in Paris,” a gorgeous young woman replied with a smile and I grinned inside. “What a great attitude!,” I thought. In between standing in line for the Tower lift and poking one another with our umbrella’s we preceded to strike up some friendly chatter…

On our ride up the tower, we found out that the couple was from the UK. Dressed up so nicely, I wondered what brought them to such a special dinner.
As we entered the restaurant, I noticed that our new found friends were seated a few tables away from us. As the young woman got up and briefly left the table, I notice that he began fidgeting with a small black pouch he had pulled from his pocket. I got his attention and asked if he was proposing tonight and he said he was!!! I must confess, my heart jumped with excitement. Since I had my camera, I offered to photograph the proposal for him and he kindly accepted.
Neil told us that he and Rachael had been rapidly planning their wedding so that they could be married. However, he had never gotten the chance to get her a ring or actually propose. Tonight was the night!
He planned to pop the question after dessert.

So, I ate my dinner and we both waited anxiously for the time to come…

And then it did!!! Neil walked over to Rachael, had her stand and got down on one knee. I just love her reaction! And her tearful “YES!!!” What a great way to end a magical day in Paris!!!
Please, leave some love and wishes for the happy couple below!

Rachael and Neil,
Congratulations!!! Thank you so much for allowing me to take part in such a special evening for the both of you! You truly have helped make my trip to Paris special as well. I wish you both all the happiness and love in the world! Rachael, you were absolutely stunning last night (who cares about the smeared make-up)! May you both be blessed!
Kristin
