“It’s kind of funny, I’m actually not sure when we exactly “met”. I just knew Abbas as my friend’s brother, and our families knew each other since we’re part of the same community. When he proposed, I wasn’t sure of what to say. As time went on, I couldn’t be happier that he did, because he’s made me the luckiest woman alive. And that’s not a hyperbole; I honestly feel so, so blessed to call him my (soon-to-be!) husband. I don’t think words can do justice to how I feel towards him; just know that I love you wholly, from the core of my being, Abbas. And as we figure out the decor for the wedding, and design the invitation cards, and do pretty much anything together– my love for you only grows.”
Huma and Abbas,
It has been a joy getting to know you both over the past year or so that we have worked with you! It has been quite the journey. Never forget how blessed you are to have one another in your life! We wish you all the best in this next chapter of your life together!

Brandon and I are so happy to be able to say that we are high school sweethearts! We’ve known each other since middle school as friends but in high school is when we decided to see what a dating relationship could be like between us. It all started freshman year when we dated for a whopping ONE MONTH (silly freshman puppy love). Luckily, we were able to become very good friends after this little speed bump. Over the next couple years our friendship grew and grew. We talked everyday, hung out all the time, he really was my very best friend. Everyone always told me that he was in love with me, even when we were “just friends” but it wasn’t until junior Prom that I really realized how much he cared about me. He asked me to prom and was determined to get out of the friend zone and make things official between us . Prom went perfectly and I knew that I felt the same way about him as he did about me.
Between our college years and Brandon being drafted for baseball, we spent the next 7 years in a long distance relationship. We’ve been through a lot together but I feel like we have always known we were going to get married even back in high school. I could not imagine my life without Brandon. I do not deserve to have the love he shows me but I feel so blessed to have it. We are thankful to God for never leaving us during the tough times in our relationship and for allowing us to spend the rest of our lives serving Him as husband and wife. I feel like everything has worked out exactly how God intended it to and we cannot wait for the big day!
What a babe! She’s quite the catch!

It was a beautiful day for Eunice and Heang’s engagement session in Pasadena, California. We met up with them and explored the city hall. We love all the majestic, classic architecture that made our backdrop. From there, we went to Eaton Canyon for a few more natural photos. They brought along Eunice’s Minnie Mouse (which was the first gift Heang ever gave her) for a few fun photos. Minnie even accidentally photo bombed a photo!
Eunice & Heang,
You are such a sweet couple and we are so glad that the Lord has brought you two together. We had a great time with you on the shoot. We love how a few glimpses of your quirky sides shine through in the photos. Your wedding day will be so fun! Can’t wait!

Jon and Kristina’s engagement shoot was so fun for us! We began by being introduced to the amazingness of Blueberry Mint Lemonade at Lemonade (that’s the restaurant’s name) in Manhattan Beach. Jon and Kristina met up with us as we finished up our yummy lunch and then the shoot began. They were a little nervous at first, but soon loosened up and got the hang of having two photographers flying around them in every which way. We gradually made our way from the bustling streets, to Becker’s Bakery (I had a maple bacon cupcake) and then to the relaxed sand for their photos. They were even kind enough to treat us to drinks at The Strand House as a reward for a shoot well done! We are so excited for their wedding because we know it will be a super relaxed and amazing time!
Kristin & Jon,
We count ourselves very blessed to call you not only clients, but friends as well. We love that we can “work” with you on a shoot, but then turn right around and relax with drinks and talk about life. Not everyone gets to do that with clients and we think it’s awesome! We are sure your wedding will be an equally amazing time as well. Can’t wait for your wedding!

The day of their engagement shoot was the first time we met Neelima and Brian. Honestly, it sometimes makes us nervous to photograph couples whom we have never met before. The Pasadena City Hall and Huntington Botanical Gardens were our backdrop for the day. We couldn’t have asked for a more kind and beautiful couple to photograph than Neelima and Brian. They were so amazing to photograph that we were sure they were secret models (they assured us weren’t, but we aren’t sure we believe them). Neelima is such an amazingly stunning woman and she totally rocked her Christian Louboutin heels like a pro that day. I think I could photograph her all day and not get sick of it. Brian is so enthralled and in love with her. It’s stunning to photograph them both together!
Neelima and Brian,
Thank you so much for having us take these photos for you. We truly had an amazing time photographing you both. While it makes us sad that we weren’t there to photograph the wedding, we wish you all the best of love and happiness in the world! We hope to see you again soon!
